Somebody in Oz did build one from a Fury or Phoenix, either on this site or Drydock. I remember seeing it on one of them.
Anyway, I actually like this. Whoever built it seems to have done a pretty nice job. Although it definitely looks better with the tonneau cover. Somebody around my area built one of these out of a late '90's Grand Marquis and did a very good job, but I've noticed that he always keeps the tonneau cover closed. I've never seen the bed. The bed floor would be a problem with any of these builds IMO because to make it flat it would be too shallow.
