Hello friends,
I have to replace the gears of the windows motors. I replaced the driver's one, but when removing the motor, I broke the compensator spring ("clock" spring?).
1 : where can I find it?
and 2, most important : is there a way to remove the WHOLE assembly, instead of only the motor? It would be easier to work on the motor,
Thanks, Sebastien

You should get yourself a FSM, Seb.. ( Factory Service Manual )
Couple examples -----
If you want one on disc:
https://www.amazon.com/Plymouth-Chrysler-Repair-Manual-Models/dp/B00435N5PA
If you would like paper:
1974 Chrysler Plymouth Factory Service Manual Set Original Shop Repair

Remove interior door panel..
Raise / lower window so you can get to the 'window stops'.. Remove them..
Remove glass from regulator..
Unplug wires to motor.
Unbolt regulator from inner door..
When removing motor from the regulator lock the lift arm as the spring is quite
strong and can cause much damage..
It is easier to just replace the regulator than to try to replace the spring...

Maintenant, va chercher un FSM, Seb.:D

Thanks @Xenon ! This will be helpfull this afternoon.
Final sentence in French: lovely!
This is my answer : Oui je vais acheter un manuel plus précis que le manuel Haynes :D:D

Well, I followed @Xenon 's advice, removed door panel and the window upper stoppers, and went to the glass screws. I removed one, but the 2nd turns inside the glass hole :BangHead: . I think that the screw has some little rust, and the opposite side plastic retainer is not strong enough to allow the screw to turn (the 1st screw has some little rust). So I'm stuck, with my motor running but not moving the glass. Very disappointed. I'll retry another day when I have more time.

And anyway, when trying to remove the glass, I tried to understand how to remove only the regulator, without anything else (tracks and guides). I see how to do it. I'll buy a better service manual before.
