Hey guys need your help here. Which years of floor pans are interchangable? Would a complete 1 piece floor pan off a 65 fury work for a 69 polara? I know we have discussed this here before but I could not locate the thread. Thanks :sSig_thanks:

This would be a guess but I'd be surprised if they were usable.

Hmm, 65 to 71 used the same floorpan, yes...but still not sure, but worth considering.

Oh and the rear footwell area in a convertible is different to a sedan too isnt it?

No, ther are all (all bodies) the same and the same for all Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge (at least in 69), as is the front pan.

Mr. Mopar, that sounds great. I'm in L.A. Is that piece far? How about $? Let me know.

I'm about 2-1/2 hour north, (about 50 min north of Santa Barbara)
I looked at it yesterday and forgot that a piece has been removed from the right rear foot area.

that's the piece that needs to be shortened so you would have to remove it anyway. can't remember off hand how much but i believe it was around 4" shorter front to back

I think you are thing about the difference between the Plymouth and Dodge with different wheelbases, the pans otherwise would be the same.
I see no reason why a convertible would be any different than the sedans.

put a floor pan from a 70 plymouth hardtop in my 69 plymouth convertible and had to cut it down. of course i didn't figure it out until i had drilled the spot welds and ground the edges. i set it in place and :head_smack:

I believe you but for the life of me I can't understand why the floor pan would be shorter!
Any further info?

I find nothing in the 69 Parts book that is different between the Hardtop and the Convertible, the only difference I found was that extension and the difference was between C-Y/P/D

In 1970 the floor pan part numbers changed but the crossmember and extensions were the same as 69.
