Sleeper buick

I had a 77 LeSabre for ten years. I loved that car.
Now I must track this one down and buy it.
Damn you,Ross.

My Dad had a white Buick like that. It the speed minder/buzzer on the speedometer. I'd set it low when I parked it. :)

That is my local track....Cecil County Dragway, Maryland!

That's incredible!

I would come to see that immediately first hand, a video would not do.

I had a 78 Olds 98 the best that 350 would do is reverse rollouts. My college car but I could haul 8 people and did on a regular basis.

This would be a sleeper car but, the engine bay is tight. It uses a Buick 3.8L V6. I use to drive one of these in high school. It was a crappy car but, that's because we bought it as a wreck too. Mostly electrical issues and hard to work one but, lots of low end torque, cool digital dash, and comfy leather seats, and 30 mpg to boot. 185829.jpg

Hi Ross,

I think it is a funny idear.
Please no turbo, oldschool power is the way to go.
Please drive hubcaps, too as the Buick

That's funny, Carsten the Purist....

Old school ship has already sailed on the Pimpolara though.

yes, I am a purist if it comes to an original untouched car (survivor). Or a rare model (colour, engine, options)which needs to be kept original in my humble opinion.

But if it is a more or less usual 383 or 318 model, already repainted etcetc why not play with it?
Of course I prefer it to look original but have more power. I am not so much a cosmetical pimper ;-))
