and i decided to get a new rad and upper and lower hoses

Interesting. Get a radiator from AZ or AAP and you get one with the plastic tanks.

I got a question about your new radiator. Did it fit with no problems. I bought one from advance auto and I had to space it out to make the hoses fit. my coolant tank will not bolt up as a result. thanks
