Has anybody ever noticed that the steering column on the C-Body (at least the 69’s) is not square in the car? You need to have a longer left arm.

The vertical plane of the column is not parallel to the center of the car. First time I saw this I thought it was an illusion, nope.

On the A-Body the column is square but not centered on the seat.

Yes...I used to think my blue 70 convertible had damage until I noticed all other 70 were like that. I only recently noticed my blue 71 is also like that. My brown 71 was not and neither was my first 71. I didn't have my 69 long enough to care

I guess they figured we wouldn't notice. :laughing7:

I actually didn't notice it until just a couple of years ago, when I was working on my car and I've owned my car since 1993. I never noticed it while I was driving.
