Temp guage wiring location

[B-Rode]

Temp guage is currently inoperable, must have been disconnected recently as a lot has been replaced. Where is the hookup for temp under the hood?

You did not mention what engine or year,but..
On a big block it is on top of the water pump housing,right side.
On a small block front corner of intake between thermosat housing and right valve cover.
