hey i've got a 1 of 1 build , by the state of california . it was built for one type job . it's a tunnel washer . it can drive from either end and all axles steer , the chassi is a fabco double header . 534 v8 gas ford , allison 8spd trans , air brakes and ride seat , 300 l6 ford to run the pumps for hyd and water , curb weight of 24k . anyone want a giant resto project that no one else would have ? more pics coming

What does this idle at? 2,000 RPM?

If you mean the Roadrunner engine, normal idle, under 1000 RPM.

It had pretty high oil pressure cold, I remember exploding a WIX 51515 filter one morning. I had to go to a K&N oil filter, spendy but explosion proof.

I had to go to the airport for Avgas, and then would mix it with premium about 50/50 otherwise you'd have to back the timing way off.

A good timing light with advance knob on the back is your friend.
