Thicker flange gaskets?

I have only used the remflex with headers, for cast iron to aluminum head I would use a gasket like this.

This is the gasket for a modern hemi, steel and graphite impregnated steel mix

They look pretty thick and maybe work well for my HP exhaust manifolds?

These are the one's I was referring to. I couldn't understand how they protect the wires, it's the valve cover gasket and paint they protect.
