I can’t remember where this resistor attaches to. It is on the positive side of the coil. Unless I put it in wrong there when I took it of. Can’t find a good pic from my dissassembly shots and the manual is Unclear. Cant find any witness marks. Everything is repainted!

That is an rfi capacitor. It reduces static on your AM radio. It hooks to the positive terminal and the other to the bolt on your coil bracket.
 
It's not a resistor. It's a noise suppression Capacitor. It goes on the positive terminal of the coil, case of the cap is grounded thru the block.
