Hello, I am interested in any leads that would put me in touch with someone that can transport a C body from the Phoenix area to Long Island. I know there are members here that move house hold goods and transport vehicles.
All help is appreciated.
Thanks, Eric

I have used Pilot transportation. Reasonably priced but you have to ask for ground transport pricing.

Call Ray, he’s a broker but he treated me right and it didn’t cost me a fortune. I have turned a couple of other guys on the forum onto him and they were also pleased.

Thanks everyone, my other option would be to find a reputable local shop in Phoenix to get the car roadworthy, and make a road trip with my son and Father. Again, all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance, Eric

A road trip is always great!

Especially with family.

Your father and your son on a road trip?? If it was me I’d do whatever I could to make that happen. It would have to be the best road trip ever.

Thank you, haven't done something like this in over 20yrs. My son is 27 now, and my dad is 82.
Are there any members in the Phoenix area that might want to earn some money by getting the car roadworthy? Its my understanding that it has been sitting for a while, but was running last year.

67' 300 ran when parked, lol. it was running as of last year. Owner passed away, family is trying to sell it.

Was running last year but was it road worthy last year? In my experience I've found that running a year ago usually means more like 5 years ago.

Make the road trip. That's a once in a lifetime experience to have all 3 generations in a 50+ year old car cross country. Even if the car doesnt make it, you'll have the memories forever. Your kid will tell the story to his grandkids....
