SOLD Trap door style 440 air cleaner

This is a pretty nice piece and I'm certain I will not have a need for it. Not sure of its exact app but the trap door thing was indicative of `72 I have been told. I have also been told it could be mid `70s truck piece.
Asking $125 + shipping from Detroit area.

Matt, is a part number stamped on it anywhere?

I'd have to get it down to doublecheck but I think not. There might be one on the decal on the side but I think that one is for the decal and it was somewhere in that early to mid `70s range.

Found it.
It's a 340 housing. Somebody put a 440 emblem on it.

Plus, I would think a BB housing would be a dual snorkel. I bet you could get almost twice that on FABO.

No, that's a '72 340 unit with shorter rectangular snorkel.

actually it's not, but it is a 74 440 B body unit. I've been on this site many times but not since the last few have been added. It's been on my favorite list for a couple years now.
