Hey everyone, I'm not an expert by any means im just a cruiser and hobbyist but did their must not be many tx9 74-78 Newport's. Ive had a few tx9 NYB's but never a newport that i can ever recall. Sorry if this is dumb or in the wrong spot, curiosity is all.

There's a reasonable number of them around. As you said, not nearly as common as black New Yorkers.

I'll say that I've seen about five black formal Newports in the last five years. Most of them have been coupes.

Black was NOT a popular color back in the old days. green, brown and blue, called earth tones

I mean i absolutely love the mopar greens/tans i prefer those, i was just thinking at work today i. Honestly cannot think of a single black Newport in the formal years that ive ever personally seen. All my new yorkers have been black, brown and 1 white ive owned 12-15 over the years but now i.really want a black Newport

By buddy Google has one! Lol
