The engine is running! But it needs some tuning, and for some reason, it doesn't like it when the timing is adjusted, either way. It likes to run in one spot, and one spot only.
Edit. After talking with Wyatt, the engine runs better when the distributor is not fully tightened, but backed off where you can adjust timing by turning it.
So he will see what's happening today, and hopefully have it sorted out. He said it runs fine loose, but like crap when he tightens it. Getting closer.

I'm happy I got the car, Dave wouldn't have bought a complete pile, like I have in the past, so I knew I was getting a pretty solid car. It's going to be a well used cruiser, I plan on putting a lot of miles on the car. I just hope the dogs like it!
