Many of us have user names that are not obvious like your name or the type of car you have.
MrMoparCHP – Even before the internet my friends were calling me “Cuda Al” and “Mr Mopar” as it was known that I loved Mopar and my two Barracudas a 67 and a 73.
In 1998 A friend put together a server to host pages on the internet and got a package deal on registering domain names. He asked what I wanted and at first I had no clue as the internet was still young and I didn’t know what I would use a page for, he made a comment about my cars and we checked MrMopar.com was available.
Initially I would sign up on websites under cuda_al but more and more it seemed to be taken, likewise with MrMopar. I’m here because of the 1969 CHP Polara I have and am restoring, when I signed up MrMopar was taken so I just added CHP.
There are people here that I am still trying to put names with. I typically sign my post with my name and it is in my signature block.
