Many of us have user names that are not obvious like your name or the type of car you have.

MrMoparCHP – Even before the internet my friends were calling me “Cuda Al” and “Mr Mopar” as it was known that I loved Mopar and my two Barracudas a 67 and a 73.

In 1998 A friend put together a server to host pages on the internet and got a package deal on registering domain names. He asked what I wanted and at first I had no clue as the internet was still young and I didn’t know what I would use a page for, he made a comment about my cars and we checked MrMopar.com was available.

Initially I would sign up on websites under cuda_al but more and more it seemed to be taken, likewise with MrMopar. I’m here because of the 1969 CHP Polara I have and am restoring, when I signed up MrMopar was taken so I just added CHP.

There are people here that I am still trying to put names with. I typically sign my post with my name and it is in my signature block.

The first web site I joined was Dodge Truck World. I needed to come up with a handle so since I just bought a brand new 03 Dodge Ram, black with a hemi I became azblackhemi.

My first sign up was the old Drydock on the "Inside the Web" pages 17 years ago. They required a certain number of characters. I went with 71polara and it kicked back "numerals could not be used first". So I went with polara 71 and it took. Every other web site I am a part of i am the same user name.

Good thread Alan

My first Mopar only website was MassMopar just when Tadjou started it.
I put down Commando because of the fender badge of my Fury but it was taken.
So I added the 1. Commando #1 never showed his face. Waste of a perfectly good handle.

I wonder if MoparMass Matt ever made it down here. He broke his balls at his Italian baker with one goal in mind. To move down here in about 3 more years sweating his *** off in his hellhole bakery in the snowiest part of Mass.

No ****. I always thought it was because of Commando 1 that appeared in Hogan's Heroes. Funny that.

My very last employment for green money waz a company named Bigbarney and I figgered no one else in their rite mind would ever use ah handle that belonged to ah purple alligator. I ain't smart enough to make somethin' like that up. I just added cars to the end so the Dip Chit wouldn't try to sue me for infringment....Very simple, Jer

I joined CBodyDryDock years ago and just decided on "440Sled" because I like'em low and it has a 440ci. I've just stuck with this name on other sites as well including this one. except for The HAMB. "One_Sic_C"

The BJS is the first letter of all three of my first three kids from my first wife and I started wiring and doing work and everyone told me I needed to come up with a name and design for advertisement so someone would know it was me. The puzzle pieces are for Autism which my first has. He is the letter B.

I am Sampling Man, have been for 21 years. Shortly after Al Gore invented the internet, it became my handle for everything. It comes from the market research industry's use (abuse) of statistical sampling so it can pretend to be scientific.

The science is in. Fact!

Wait a minute. I've been using that line here for years. I've got it trademarked here and 100% of the active members here will tell you that.

That is a variation of the boring line you stole from the last guy.

As much as you talk you could claim every phrase known to man
