Condition unknown but it likely needs rebuilding. Period correct for that classic car or truck. It’s missing the mounting brackets but those can easily be made. $65 plus shipping from Youngsville, NC

John Mitchell Co built several brands of under-dash a/c systems, in the middle 1960s era. When the add-on a/c "boom" was in full force in the expanding TX economy of that time. Many had purchased cars a few years prior, but were between trade-in cycles, so adding a/c was a viable option rather than getting a new car with factory a/c.

Mark IV was their top of the line brand, but there was also a "Lone Star" brand, too, which was more value-priced with (probably) the same guts in it. They worked pretty well, too.

The mounting bracket kit (for the inside unit) was universal in nature.

Enjoy!
