What Do You Do On A Rainy Day In Phoenix?

To be honest with you Stan I'm ready for it. It's been a cold winter here and I hate the cold!
I'm pretty sure Climate Change is affecting Florida weather.
We had 2 weeks of winter (60° days ) and we're back to summer already.
Mid-February, plants and shrubs blooming like crazy and pollen is super high. :realcrazy:

I think winter came here in early Feb, not sure, I may have missed it. But it's full blown spring time now. Flowers, shrubs, grass and lots of pollen.

Nice purchase Chris!! I love mine so I think you will too.

Curious, I get 25 on the highway with my Hemi Durango. Isn't the V6 rated at 26? So, Brother... what did you actually save?
Well Scott for starters over $4000 less MSRP. The HP difference is only about 70 HP. Then the 5.7 is rated 22 highway and you're getting 25. The 3.6 V6 is rated 26 Highway so in theory I should get 29. Not sure if it will work out to that but going up to Prescott which is all curvy mountain grades It got 21.5. We shall see.

The Hemi was 4 grand more? Wow!

The 3.9 V6 I had in my Dakota got 19 on the highway. That was exactly what it was rated at by the EPA. The 318 was also rated at 19; for ten years I wised I had bought one of those instead. Of all the vehicles I've owned, that was the only one that got what the EPA said; all others I've gotten better. I do hope you get 29, but people I've talked with who own them don't. Let me know!

When we visited with you two years ago I got 25 from LA to Prescott. Got it on the way to Vegas and back to Chico too. I was ecstatic!

Yes, because to get it you have to get either an RT or Citadel, at least up here that's the way it is.

You could order the special services Durango with the Hemi Peter and vinyl seats....Stan would be jealous..

And the GT with the performance hood and front facia has most of what the RT has other than the hemi.

Oh. Mine is an R/T. We did get them to drop the price by ten grand though, from 52 to 42. I was happy. Then my wife asked for the extended warranty that added 3 grand back to the price. D'oh!!

So, what is your 2 month review?
Funny you should ask Peter. We just got back from a 1200 mile round trip up to Utah in it. It performed great. It was a lot of mountain climbing and descending through Northern Arizona and Utah. The V6 has more than enough power and averaged 24 MPG's even with all the climbing and keeping it at 75-85 most of the way. Very comfortable for traveling with plenty of room. Rained most of the way home but it didn't slow us down. Climbed up Fairview canyon to over 10,000 feet with no problem. After 3500 total miles I give it 2 thumbs up.:thumbsup:

Thanks for that. Mt RT should be on the train now for mid month delivery.
