What's the funniest mod you've seen in a while???

That green customized 60 Chrysler is the first custom of its builder and he has owned a lot of 60 Chryslers, I recall the number is about some dozens. :wideyed:
Thats one beautiful car. I know we’re not supposed to do that to them now but I like it. We’re kinda spoiled here in regards to that. Gene Winfield up here in the high desert did some awesome 60’s Chrysler customs. He’s restored a bunch of his old customs lately. I guess it’s not really a foul if you’re restoring a historic custom. It drives the purists crazy now but they were only cars when he did them way back then.

Some of his movie cars are at the Peterson Museum right now.

This is the reason why the first engineer at Volks Wagon was terminated. He read the drawings for the Pickup version of the van backwards!

^ Looks like a waste of a '59. I hope it had massive damage before and I hope that it wasn't a real El Camino.:( May it rest.

It may be a photoshop picture or movie prop...
please don’t shoot the messenger

You have to remember that these 59’s usually had bad cancer of the frames so many were scrapped in lieu of trying to drop the body onto another frame...
Close up inspection actually looks like a chopped body and a bad fibreglass job...

Not all cars can be, or should be restored and preserved. A friend once cut the rear clip of a extremely rusted and battered 57 Fairlane, re shaped it with sheet metal and bondo into a love seat and added nice oem chrome and trim.
Folks would comment on how he should not have done that to such a nice car and where is the rest of it........ :BangHead:

Many of the cars pictured on the last three pages reminded me of what is a truth for me: I hate fender skirts on cars that did not have them from the factory.
