Wheels for 66 Monaco

Anyone have issues with putting 15 x 8 wheels on a 66 Monaco? Clearance?

Depends on the wheel offset and tire size you are wanting to go with. Shouldn't be an issue on the rear depending on tire size but might be an issue on the front.

Wanting to run 275/60 on rear & 235/60 on 15 x7 wheels on front. Wondering if a 4.5 offset would give me the clearance needed.

I have a 65 Monaco with 17 x7 wheels and 225/50/17 tires on the front and 17 x 8 wheels with 275/50/17 tires on the back. The wheels are zero offset. I have had no issues with them rubbing or hitting. The only thing is to get the rears off and on I have to jack the car up by the front spring perch in order for the axle to hang.

Thanks. I've been told they wouldn't work so am glad to get a response from someone who actually put them on.
