Where do I get new upper control arms for my 1971 fury custom Surburban?

Be careful....I have had new ball joints fail to tighten up properly into old control arms. This is one reason why they are sometimes tack welded into place.

Yeah thanks. The arms are at a local friends mech shop gettin ball joints out. I already instructed them to tack weld if it seems cheese dick n not sturdy. The threads on my new ball joints are very tiny n do not look like they will hold very strong at all so I told them to go ahead n take the freaking torch to them to get them out n tack weld new I'm tired of n I'm done fighting this cars front end. The rear end was a piece of cake compared to this nightmare I'm dealing with now.

Soon as ball joints are in all I need to do is put it all back together.

New upper ball joints on! I'll have her back together next week on Monday hopefully fingers crossed! Mech friend had correct ball joint socket. Thank God!!!!
