I replaced the weatherstrip that the front window rides in yesterday. This is the vertical felt/plastic piece that goes in the vent window frame. The old one was shot.

The window is a little stiff and I'm wondering if silicone spray would work well as a lubricant to help free it up. They work... but I think they should be smoother and not as much effort to raise and lower. If not silicone... what would work?

I'm going to install some relays to lower the amount of current through the power window switches, but that will be a subject for another thread.

And if anyone wants to know the part number.

mr big john !

i used standard tub of bearing grease on all the window rollers and slides while i had my door panels off - really helped everything get slippery.
