One of the biggest recording artists - ever. Biggest female in her genre - ever. Tough breaks growing up, but natural singer-writer at an early age. Performing all over Ontario got her noticed eventually.
By 1995, she was BIG ... she's tough to "impress" though she said once -- 25 years ago. Man, she really enjoys being female too, she also said once - 26 years ago.
Btw, her genre? It has 140 million fans (not the biggest, but in the top 10). This part of the music industry had a streaming year recently of over 1 Billion songs. Again, she's one of its brightest lights -- ever.
Award-winning of course ... Multiple Grammys, Best "this", Most "that", Hollywood Walk of Fame, genre Hall of Fame, People's Choice, etc.
I am not a fan of this genre (I live under a rock with this kinda music), but even I know her Top 5 songs and have them on my playlist. Catchy tunes.
