I'm working on my father's 1968 Fury Sport 2-door. It had wider fender sections installed (a common modification back then) which have now been removed. I need original fender sections to weld back onto the body.

My question is: Can I use fender sections from a 1967 model? I'm talking about this specific section, not the whole quarter panel. Are these sections the same or different between '67 and '68? There is one for sale close to me for parts.

thank you very much!

Thanks!

For the Chryslers, too, there are MANY subtle differences between 1967 and 1968 body sheet metal and trim items. You don't readily see them until you look! Almost like "How much can we change things without having to make new dies for the basic part?" was operative.

Thanks!

No. The body lines and contour of the quarter panels in front of and behind the wheel opening are different between a '67 & a '68 Fury.

wheel arch molding different too because of location of accent line...
