Name that girl

New game.

this girl has been in my "to do list" for severeral years. I bagged her to try to keep the extraneous chatter personal down - we had a couple people here [may still be here but i aint seen this one guy in years - seemed to hate everything, fight with everybobdy, complain about everything, etc.,]). this lady carries some controversy- i for one dont care at all about her personal affairs. as long she isn't breaking the law -- ces't la vie!

I will still see a production just cause she's in it. some people think differently which is cool-free country. complain in the political/opinion thread please:eek:.

age 63 now. American Actor, born in California, did a little of the ancillary stuff too. Acting since she was 3 years old (sun tan company TV ad). Won all the big Hollywood acting awards. I saw one her early movies (1976) binge watching this hoilday. It was considered to be a controversial role for a teenager to play. Considered to be her "big break" at age 12.

The Oscars came later but she finished an Ivy league education and went on the roles that more matched her age - then the big awards started coming. With fava beans please:). Below in a American tv role TV role in 1969 (so, 7 years old).

This one should be among the easier girls to get. Answer in a couple of days

I got this one. Save my spot under the rock though, I WILL be back!

I got this one. We just watched one of the movies she directed 30 years ago. One of the few Thanksgiving comedies out there, and my wife and I watch nearly every year. Loaded with stars and didn't have commercial success but still one of my favorite movies, which no one has ever seen or heard of.

You should watch it with her. It is about a very dysfunctional family. It will make you feel good about any slight dysfunction in your own. The crazy aunt would be a good one for your game, I don't think you have done her already. Most would know her from a big early movie, and know her very famous dad, but never recognize her in this movie.

i know her from her dad and an older kinda famous period piece. naw, we haven't done her yet here do you think enough people would know her by her work? i know i wouldnt get her except by name recognition maybe i'll research her and see what i can come up with for a fun game thats not too hard.:)

2,565 is Jodie_Foster.

i thought this on would be harder but most everbody reported getting her. when she was 3 years old, their mother took her and her brother to audition for a Coppertone commmercial. the commercial casting director noticed her (blonde, cute, fair skinned, etc,.) and gave her a job. She's been in over 50 movies and 50 years in both starring and supporting roles. she has also directed.

As to controversy, she married a woman after coming out a few years ago. I think she's still a great actor no matter who she married. my faves were Taxi Driver (she was 12, played a teenage prostitute), Silence of the Lambs, Elysium, Contact, Inside Man, Maverick(Mel Gibson), and that HBO thing (True Detective) from last year.

I was going to say that. That outfit looks like one she wore in an episode of Adam 12 when she was interviewed by Malloy about her school friend who disappeared.

never saw that movie but loooked it up. good cast of roughnecks. couldnt tell what he did to her but given he played a half-breed Indian and she played a Cajun woman farmer, he probably wasnt very p /c in mid 1960's. nobody was in that era of Western. she wasnt "cajun" - he definitely didnt look "indian"

if it nothing to do wth that, heck it was just a period piece where anything "dramatic" could happen. if it was something else I didnt read about it.

Did he go PC? Hell no! But he absolutely uses her, and when she discovers that, and at what cost, it's horrible! Good movie though!

New Game

Actor
, stage and screen, great talent died young in at 53 years old.

born in India she was a British citizen a tragic story full of extramarital drama, health issues, two Oscars, one for a unforgetable performance in a classic that some think was one of the greatest movies ever. i admit to seeing it many times. it won multiple awards and in today's terms it might have been the biggest movie ever made. once married to England's greatest actor.

when this game ends, take some time to learn her story. if people in your orbit have ever beeen mentally ill it can be quite hard on everybody. Below at age 2 she would grew into one of the prettiest women in Hollywood's Golden Age. frankly, i think she really didnt give a damn if people ihought she was pretty or an adulterer. i just mainly feel sorry for her.

While i tend not to like most of her work, she really was a good actor. had i been old enough i would have seen her stage work. she actually resembles the two year version as a older lady but you might not see it. its mostly her dark hair, large eyes and mouth shape.

this is a hard one. if you keeep the years in mind it should be easy.
