Hey guys, I forgot to introduce myself properly, so here I go ;).

I'm a pretty young guy (27) living in Warsaw, but I've been hooked on American cars since I've been a little kid. I spent my childhood in Saudi Arabia and was simply blown away by how cool V8-powered American cars were compared to the crap that I remembered from my home country. Ever since, my dream was to own a classic US car, preferably from the sixties or early seventies, and now I'm a at a stage in life where fulfilling that dream has become possible. I don't know why, but I fell in love with fuselage c-bodies. Quite possibly it was because of how stunning they look or maybe their red-headed stepchild status had something to do with it...
I can't really post a photo of my car, as I don't own a c-body yet. I'm looking to buy one in the States and ship it over here, so please be considerate when I ask hundreds of stupid questions:). Any advice from other European members who have managed to successfully ship a car across the pond will be very much appreciated. The thought of buying a car that I haven't seen in person is quite intimidating, especially in the case of c-bodies which aren't exactly commonplace and parts can be hard to find...

Cheers

Welcome from Finland. There's something weird magnetism in those fuselages, isn't there? Especially if they are black... ;)

Do you have a favorite yet?

My god that is a tiny car:poke:
I wouldn't call it a car.

I think i like the '69 300 2door the most. I'll take any fuselage 300 though...
I saw a four door parked on the street some time ago and immediately fell in love. The problem is, I was on a date with a really gorgeous girl then and she got really pissed off that I paid more attention to some lowly automobile than I did to her. Needless to say, we didn't hit it off :D.

Welcome aboard. You have come to the right place to find leads for your dream car. BTW now at your age is the time be selective wrt both women and cars.

Sorry for asking you about your daily driver and all the subsequent abuse you are going to receive I was truly just curious.

It's made by Volkswagen group and sold under their three brands - Volkswagen, Seat and Skoda. A great little car actually, perfect at what it does, plus it has heated front seats, satnav and handles like a go-kart. 40 MPG doesn't hurt either.
The way I see it, all modern cars feel like lifeless appliances, so I don't see any reason to spend more than I have to on buying and running one. I'd much prefer to save the cash and get a real car.

With the price of fuel and the narrow roads in Europe it should not surprise anyone that you drive a small car. You have nothing to apologize for although people here will give you the gears. It is probably perfect as a daily driver in your environment.

I think all of the jokes in this thread were good-hearted.
Seriously, who would get offended by someone laughing at the size of their car? :D
