Yes. Many guys are willing to pay for them there are the cheap bastards that think everything should be priced as if it were still 1973...I would bear the hundred dollar cost but it has to be correct
 
I've been keeping an eye on that Fury whenever possible since I read about it on Moparts. ... Very interesting, cool car
 
Hi Beaparts, with regards the production of the washer bottle you will find that there is a somewhat larger market for them than other years of C-bodies as the bottle was found in many different models over a three year period. I don't know if that will end up making for many more sales, but I think it is worth considering. Personally since I am doing a rare vehicle myself I would step up for a good reproduction.
P.S. Would love to see a restoration thread started here on that pink Fury!
 
Tanks are blow molded. Not cheap to set up tooling for that. You need a lot of units to make up for it. Despite that it can be used on all C's theoretically from 69-73...

3d printing may be a more cost-effective way to do this on a limited scale.

that was in a '69 Fury rag top at the boneyard. I believe that it (2932830) may have also been used in the '69 300s and it is listed for Imperial, even after '69 IINM. The bottle has a few hairline cracks in it. I haven't installed it because I want to try to do some plastic welding. From what I've been able to find out, it is possible to weld polyethylene.

Anyway, this bottle will fit the '69-'72 Chryslers and possibly other Fusies, tucking neatly under the left front fender. It requires a little metal bracket bolted to the rad support. It is not the correct one for my car, but would be my preferred choice and is one that I would like to see reproduced. Yeah, I know keep dreaming. I would be willing to pay $85 - $110, but no higher for a quality reproduction. In the mean time, I am using a bottle from a '68 Newport in my car. The '68 bottle will fit if you use a smaller battery.

Kind of ironic, in that I was too cheap to get the proper 65 reservoir, and slightly modified (with a heat gun) a spare 69 bottle I had to fit.

Lol! :) Yeah, ironic. It proves that there are still some out there though. I ordered one online a few years back. The seller said "no cracks", but it had hairline cracks too. I'm going to see if I can fix the one pictured in my above post without f****** it up. :eek:ops: I'll practise on some broken ones first.

I used a soldering iron to plastic weld various items including a plastic gas tank. Use a small portion of flashing from another part of the bottle for extra material to fill in cracks.
