Looking for late 72 (basically the 73 up style) or later disc brake setup, or if anyone has a early 72 disc brake rotor they want to sell (hard to find). The parts store doesn't even list the proper rotor (72 fury 4 door) just the later one. Need the spindles and calipers and brackets if you have the 73 style. If you have the rotor for the early 72 and don't need to put a child through college with the sale, please let me know. One of the hoarders on here must have one hiding in plain site that they want to sell. Thanks in advance.

That's the rotor we got. It's the later style. The rotor sits all the way down on the spindle, but you can't get the nut down far enough for the hole for the cotter pin to be exposed. And the inner wheel seal is a different diameter. They switched rotors midyear and rockauto doesn't even list it. The early style is a 2 piece rotor.

Wait. That makes no sense.
There was the 69-72 rotor and spindle and there was the 73-only spindle that used the 73-78 Rotors.
What spindles is on your 72 Fury.
The 72 spindles or the 73 spindles?

Right there at the bottom. Early 72

Funny, I'm not seeing that info in my mobile browser. But rockautos website was acting different. I'm trying to find out what part number my friend, Maro, ordered.

Never use the mobile view on RA. You have to use the desktop view.

Hey Stan, or anyone on a desktop, can you verify the caliper part numbers for me? Same vehicle.

Picking rotors for a 72 always leads to confusion. Look up either a 69-71 car, or a 73, and that bypasses the confusion.

Rock Auto shows them for 69-72, trade # is 7012R. $100 each, so not cheap, but less than the $150+ they were a few years ago. I guess my couple of sets of 69-72 spindles just became worthwhile again.

The new ones probably aren't 2-piece, but that's just a manufacturing style and of no consequence to operation.

Whether the 7012 and 7018 rotors are done correctly is another question, but that's not discernible from a website, of course.

My friend won't be able to work on his car for another couple of weeks, but he knows about a different part number than what he got the first time around.

And if you order in 7012R -- you will see that you cannot use them -- and they are heavy -- when you go to send them back -- and
I am sure that they will not "eat" the shipping for your return......
As stated, I have N.O.S. 1969 - 1972 Very U.S.A. made (No American company in over 20 years now...) 1000 % correct Front HUB &

Went to Windy Hill and got the one side rotor and caliper. Still looking for the later setup.
