Long live the Admiral.

Hopefully it comes with a football field to turn it around in, although a mildly slick road will work too. :steering:
Prius's are pretty easy to turn:poke:
My buddy Jeff lent me his rig to get the wheels for the GTX...and this thing is tits. Laramie. 2008(?). plenty of power and cold-*** A/C.

food for thought. :D

But where did you put the wheels ?

I'm sure the wheels fit back there but he probably had to put the lug nuts in one of the cavernous storage compartments inside the truck because we all know those are more important then bed space on a pick up.:wtf:

Just as important. .... I use the cab more than the bed. The cab is my office and still too small.
I could use a ten ft bed too

So @polara71, and others who disagree, what do you recommend for people who buy truck to get around through 1" of snow, and nothing else? I'm not claiming to be right, but I am! Just kidding.

I'm not a fan of quad cab trucks. My truck is a regular cab with an 8' bed because it's just my wife and I and I need cargo space, not cab space. Having said that, a quad cab pickup is far more capable than a Subaru. You have no idea why his buddy bought the quad cab. Maybe he as two or three kids and this is his only vehicle and he also needs to haul/tow heavier loads than car based "crossovers" or "sport utilities" are capable of.

If you have two or more kids and you have a 26' + travel trailer, what are you going to buy to pull it with? Not a Durango and certainly not a Subaru.

@LocuMob Why do you assume he "get around through 1" of snow, and nothing else?"?

Haha .. I think we may have pissed on some BBQs with the Subaru comment.

All I'm saying is that if I can't lay down a 4'x8' sheet in the back of my p/u without 4' of that 8' hanging out the tailgate, the truck is kinda worthless to me. I agree, of course, that certain short beds would be very capable trucks otherwise but still, I don't want to have to pull a trailer if I don't need to so cargo space is a must.

My only other beef with newer trucks that are generally the short bed, 4 door type are that they are just too plush for me. When I was looking for a new truck, I really wanted rubber mats and vinyl seats as I have three dogs who like to go to the lake... I, myself, tend to garden/get dirty/get greasy and have to run out for parts or whatever, I don't need to be trying to clean all that off some faux suede or fabric seat. It just seems that the days of the "truck" as a tool are gone and that sucks if you need that tool as a tool in and of itself.

Whoa, I wasn't referring to the truck pictured earlier, I was responding to @GJS's comment about people's warped sense of what a pickup is for. I see, right now pulled up right next to me, a Ford Raptor, a fully capable off road designed truck, that never goes off road or hauls anything. They're my neighbor so I know what they use it for. They got it cause it's cool. That's fine, but close to half of the pickups around me don't ever get used as pickups were designed for. I don't use my truck often, but when I do I'm hauling a load of rock, or picking up a swing set, or towing something. That's what I use my truck for. I hope that clears up my previous statement.
