Been a busy week, got the Charger sold and spent a whole day running around paying bills and getting tires fitted to some rims. Got back to working on the 300 today and managed to fix the inner fender sections. Outer skins will go on soon.

Alright, @Wollfen, you've sealed the damned deal for me. All my life I've been able to join wood and composites but have never had the space, or balls really, to mend metal. Bend it? Yea. But mend it, no.

I'm happy to say (if not a lil prematurely) that my wife and I found a house with a very decent sized 2 car garage. That takes care of the space part. Next up is a welder. I will then conjure up the balls to practice my *** off putting metal together. It just looks too cool of a thing to not know and being that my Monaco has a number of issues to be tended to, It's just high time.

Good work, man. That's a sharp car and I'm glad she's getting so much love.

I'm glad I have inspired some to try something new, each time you do, regardless of whether you succeed or fail, you learn something.

Gary, you sold the Charger?? Good Man! I knew it wouldnt last long!!
Yeah, I had a couple of tire kickers look at it and finally a guy came over, saw what I had and didn't quibble. Paid what I wanted. I have to say though, I HATE selling cars, it's such a pain in the ***.

My Dad always told me to learn everything that I can because once you learn something they (meaning anyone) cannot take it away from you.

We have a Harbor Freight coming very soon to our area. Sometime in the not to distant future I plan to pick up a welder and start playing. I have a trailer that the bed needs some repairs. I cannot think of a better project to learn on.

One thing I've learned though is that I don't tell everyone all the different things I'm capable of because then youre being asked to do everything at work.

So in between packing the charger with parts and putting new shoes on Aidan's 65 Mustang I managed to tack in the lower panel on the drivers side. I should get it fully welded in tomorrow.

So most of the day was taken up by the guy taking the charger away. It was one big *** truck, I can tell you, 40ft trailer on the back, sweet.Would be nice to own one, Id hate t have to pay for the gas to run it though. I could probably hire Stan to drive such a thing for me huh? Update on work on Bobs car too, I'm getting there.

I dropped off 4 trash can bags of $100 dollar bills to Gary as payment for the work he's done thus far. Took me almost all summer to come up with the down payment.
