Cbody Bob's 1966 Chrysler 300 coupe

man o man , this project has got to turn around guys , but now is the time to fix it all . not after its painted . to many times they say that good enough . just to have to go back over it . i'd take and poke a scribe or an awl to every pimple on the car , just to make sure . and on the age thing , just turn 62 , yes i'm slower , and not near as agile , can't hear as well have akes n pains . but i know now how it all came to be , lol . when i was younger i could do without thinking about the after math . today i feel it . so to turn back my clock , it would be in the teens to early twenties . thats when i cut up most of my rare cars , would be nice to have them back .

Not much work done, I did cut out the rust and weld in a patch, then ground it back, little skim coat of body filler for smoothness then primed it. The weather has not been agreeable.

weather being favorable of course , lol . and there's that no stone unturn'd thing going on , lol . are you cherrinh it out to paint n drive or sell ? dumb question , i know the right money can get you interested in another , or unless you do a hoard , lol . and they require room n board for safe keeping . done cars can be a pain to keep that way . storage being what it is around here . even sheds can add up the costs .

When I saw the car I fell for her. I didn't think it would take that much to get her going but we keep finding stuff to fix. I want it right. I've got the best body guy I've ever seen working on it so I might as well let him do his thing. It has been a financial hit for sure. I've had a couple of people ask if I'd sell it but I can't give them a price at this time so I just can't say. I really don't want to cut corners on it. If someone comes up with cash or cash trade then fine. If not I'll add it to my collection. I have a saying " everything I got is for sale including my underwear" I'm use to working on hot rods & race cars. A totally different skill set than restoring a classic properly. No way I could do this myself. Thank God for Wollfen !!!!! When I get her home I'm going to park her right beside my 440 4 speed Belvedere. I'm going to dub them "Macho" & "Class" I'll add up all the receipts & see

adding what , the cost of restoring a vintage auto . as a driver to a trailer queen cost vary big . when there done and on the road , i just keep a bag with everything in it . all the costs right down to the purchase . '' Macho & class '' why not '' Macho & Cruz'r '' . although that 300 will run it up on the road . and yes i'd sell me undy's as well . have you offered them to commando 1 , he had his stolen awhile back from his laundry . hope the sick bast..r grabb'd the clean ones , lol . oh and ps love the 66 bel bud .

Got a lot done today, finished the passenger fender. I also decided to use a wire brush and remove all the loose rust on the rear bumper and brackets, then I coated it all with Eastwood rust Encapsulator. Then fitted the rear bumper, only have to tighten it up now. Also coated the cowl areas covered by the fenders etc. Check pics for progress.

You're killing me man! I've got a very large portion of my brain thinking the Monaco is going to be completely apart by January. ... the other part just wants to drive, but... man, it's tempting!
Great work!

Just have to be stubborn and grind away at it. ;)
