I just called Don.
I invited him to come to Ocala, told him the guy that built the car was going to be there and the car would get tons of attention.
He isn't interested in any of the cars history or what was done to it.
He's going to a car show in Lakeland.
He is only interested in selling it.

wow. just wow. lash is gonna lowball him too.

do we have a circle jerk icon : : ?

All us guys going to the show this weekend should call, and act interested, and ask if he’s going to the show lol

And, YES, I'd give my left nut to bring'er back into the fold but I can't have everything.
Do a down to the metal paint job and it would be on magazine covers. Like that small block "SFGT".
This is an excellent candidate for a 727 swap. You could do it Stan.

We had our chance when it was reasonably priced. Anyone know what this seller paid?

It hasn't been reasonably priced since the guy Stan sold it to had it for sale

Let me edit that, Since Stan sold it

Now I want to buy "White Lightning", cheap compared to Stan's craftsmanship.

There is something very seductive about this look.View attachment 150661 View attachment 150662
It's' tough to find aftermarket wheels that look good on a Formal.
Those wheels would be wrong on any other Formal, but they do belong on this one.
Strange it's now in TAMPA. Like a lost puppy making it's way back home...
It would be nice if he brings it to Ocala next weekend to pimp it.

I can play Mickey The Dunce and pepper him with questions. Watch him Tap Dance....

Boy I want to be right there to watch... I'll give my best "poker face" while you're at it.

Carlisle events has a show coming up in Lakeland... they run an auction which seemed to be as much of what the show was for as anything. Last year, the Maserati TC club was the only organized Mopar group I can recall. I probably ignored some A bodies that parked together along the way.

This guy is hoping to cash in... I'm hoping he loses his shirt.

Hood is still available, and free to anyone eliminating scoops.
