The Imperial is going to a new home in Pennsylvania.

Mike, my friend thanks you very much for your thorough investigation of the car, especially trekking hours through the snow on the trip. With the info you provided, it was easy to tell that the he was dealing with a very honest seller, which is a huge plus when buying a car long distance. He sent a deposit tonight and we'll run out there with the car trailer over the holiday and bring it back.

The new owner will treat it well. He's a stickler for originality, so no need to worry about any stupid rims or Pep Boys add-ons for this car. The car really hasn't been used much in the last 15 years, so he will end up going through and freshening up all the accessories and making sure the mechanicals are safe. We'll also tackle the ATC, and see what we can do to get it functioning properly again. This purchase could possibly put pressure on me to finally get mine up and running and back out into the sun again.

Jeff glad I could help in his decision. Tell him my info charge is he must join our group and share his Imperial with us.

We'll probably have to compromise on this one a little bit. He's a super-busy guy, has two young kids, works two jobs, and really doesn't have any time left over at the end of the day to spend on the computer. Instead, I'll volunteer to take responsibility for relaying all progress on the car to the group, as I usually see him every two to three weeks.

I hope he brings it to Carlisle this year, I’d like to see my car next to this one.

I'd just detail it out and drive it. Looks nice as a survivor car.

My problem is I start off thinking I can just drive it as a survivor, and then the next thing I know I have it in primer in the interior is gutted.

Awesome news. Super happy to know she's going to a good home!

I know there's buyer's regret is there nonbuyer's remorse?
I never even saw the car first-hand and I have nonbuyer's remorse. Hell tho, all I gotta do is go look at Beverly and the ache just melts away.

I'd love to have one of these but i don't think the thing would fit in my garage. The Monaco barely clears the garage door! Builders call this a 2 1/2 car garage these days? Growing up, our two car garage would have two C bodies, a fridge, freezer, work bench, mower etc and still walk around the cars.

Yes it's nice having the car that you love, actually went and started up Goldie yesterday was going to move her to the garage. She always puts a smile on my face.

As she should. That girl would be hard to beat!
I always find it funny that I wound up with a 67 Monaco. I've told the story a thousand times but to make it short, I wasn't even considering one. In fact, I really had a heart murmur for this 65 300L I'd found but something kept me at the line on that one. When Bev came up, I just moved. No questions... she never lets me down on that decision and for my part, If she were to have a stable mate, It'd have to be damn near perfection.

Non buyers remorse....... I deal with that almost on a daily basis. It usually passes.
Non buyers remorse is what led me to Virgil, (my 61 Fury convertible), after 53 years of missing the first one I found. That itch never went away.

BTY Will I have all the components for the 69 front end now, except the driver's side surround. If you come across one I will make it worth your while.:poke:

So I am back on the market for a 69 Town and Country. :)
