Wollfen's 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury S23

IIRC, '73 was when they went to a "shunted" ammeter where not all the current passes through it. Moot point if you do the "Mad" or "Nacho" bypass... In fact, it would probably work well with those mods.

A little work done, but another hiccup, I need a new on off switch for the blower motor that will fit the control assy, check the pics to see. I hope someone can help. The one I have, the switch mount holes are not far enough apart.

Hey John!
What electricity does not go trough the ammeter?

You would need to redo the lettering. Same problem we have in Canada where all the old cars are mph and all our highways are metric. PITA if you want to know!

So I cleaned up the under dash wiring harness out of the car and have decided to use it again, it only needed some minor repairs, mainly to the electrical tape that had frayed in a couple of places. I have a convertible harness as well (0n the left in the first pic) but it is a totally different animal it turns out. The S23 harness has that relay that can be seen in the second pic. Anyway, another small step forward.

I'll check the garage today i have a few of those controls with switches I'll post a pic of what i have if your still looking.

Okay a bit of an update, while it may have been raining, I didn't stop working, after all, I tend to go stir crazy cooped up in the house.
The steering column was pulled apart and the housing stripped, primed and painted, it's ready for each piece to go back in after being cleaned, inspected and replaced if necessary. Also I am retrofitting cruise control to this car since I have it sitting spare.
I also stripped down the radiator support panel and it looks solid with no repairs needed. A little surprise is coming in regards this item, stay tuned...

Heh, okay I can do that. It's pretty simple really, but there are two ways to wire them up, so I will address that too when the time comes.
