IMO pick-up and SUV design have always been kinda utilitarian ugly.
The last few years have just taken them into a Tonka Toy/Transformers silliness.

I love the dual pane sunroofs in the 19 Ram and wish my 18

The new Rams have grown on me a lot as I see them in real life, just like Carmine said. They are much better than the old ones to me now. Less in your face look that inflates egos rather than just looking good and maybe better aerodynamics. And they are getting rave reviews.

But I can't kill my old 1989 Dakota yet. So I will just keep it, though.

And I am the exact opposite. My favourite grille is the chromed floating horizontal bars, with chromed bumpers. Thankfully they make a version that appeals to both of us, unlike most vehicles today. I see two-tone paint is still even an option on some trim levels!

I agree. I really don't think the new Ram's are ugly but they do look too much like the other brands. They lost the distinctive Ram look.

I'm just the opposite. That new roof will keep me from ordering a sunroof. I like the smaller version. Since the cab on the new HD models is a carryover, I hope the sunroof stays the same so @Dobalovr can put a sunroof in mine.

I think that the third gen had something done right in the front. Maybe it´s the crosshairs-like grille, which reminds of the letter series Chryslers from the early 60s. One of them with only two doors and a Hemi would be a nice daily IMO.
