Anyone work with agriculture/construction equipment?

Found this. It's half the price of a grinder. I'll let you know how the meeting goes.

when I was the Pastor of a church in Wasco, CA, a farming community, I got to drive a cotton picker that belonged to some Members. I had a ball, but for me, it wasn't a job, or a living! They did this every year!!

Still, had fun!!

See post #17, looks like it would fit the requirements :poke:

Now that’s cool. I’ve worked on an ice chipper/snow blower up at mammoth for PG&E. They were blaming the CAT electronics (it happens) on the engine but it was the attachments remote control. We opened the back and all the wires sprung out like a jack n the box. 6 hour drive cause they were using the remote as a footrest in the cab. Good times...

F@#$ operators  ,used to go snow boarding at Mammoth when I was stationed at LAX. Lots of good times.

Boston Plow Driver would love that one.

you shut ins, glad I don't work in the city

We do a bit of that around here too. I haven't run the big drill ... yet. A lot of the newer stuff is run by gps, so program and kick back. The operator is there and do the turn arounds and monitor. AC and xm and a nice cushy seat make operating a breeze, Looks like your having a blast!

There is a BIG Farm Show in Tulare, CA, every year. I went to it with the Wasco Farmers. There I climbed into a four-row Cotton Picker, complete with GPS. Incredible!! Jim and Chris only had two-row pickers. I asked them when they were going to get one if thee bad boys? They said when I give them the million dollars to buy one! HA! Man, that thing was something else - AC too!

Tulare show is cool but I’m not going to lie. The only thing I know about the farm stuff besides ditch pump motors and gen sets are the challenger tractors and wainroy plows. The rest is all Greek to me. Those big red quad tracks DWP had on Owens dry lake are cool too but only at 50 yards for me. I want nothing to do with them. I’ll stick to my yellow iron thanks.

Nice, D8-9? Helluva ripper on it, we don't have any dozers unless you count the mini ex. Heres our largest cat, unless you count the new excavator thats waiting in the snow. No ones run it yet except to offload.
