'67 / '68 Imperial photos

This car has been for sale for some considerable time, was on the imperial club site. It was somewhere near Rhode Island when I contacted him, which was perfect location for me as I have friends I visit nearby, but now seems to be in Maine. He is very rigid on price and not that friendly/forthcoming so I gave up, that was last summer.

Thanks for thinking of me with cars you spot, trying to find out more on the Canada car at the moment posted on another thread.

Cruising around town in the fusie a few weeks ago, on the opposite side of the road passed an Imperial. 4 Door, Maybe a 67, probably a 68 in W1 Polar White. Chrome glistening in the sun. Wish I had time to take a picture. I’m determined to find and meet up with him! That thing was nice! Made me want a slab side Imperial.

Pass him my details Yeahrightgreer, if you do meet up, I'd love a white one.

Who doesn’t like shopping for cars??
Well I guess some of these guys...:poke:
At what point does one say "screw it!" with cars?

Ten years ago it was cheaper to buy a whole car versus individual parts. My buddy had a really nice southern triple black 68 Crown he was keeping on the road at the time. The blue one pictured did not get parted out but he used parts from it as he needed. Both cars recently sold as a pair both running but blue one not drivable.

Matt, isn't time you update your signature thing??

Maybe but more importantly ‘64 Impvertible!
The green one shouldn’t be around for long enough to add to my signature and at least 1 or 2 of those currently in my signature need to find new homes.

This is a link to lots of pics of the Czech car, from when he bought it and did work, with a video right at the end of it being driven:thumbsup: and another of the engine rev'ing

Lots still to do it would seem and what is the warning light staying on when he is driving it? I thought video had no sound at first, but its so quiet ! even driving with the window down, quality :wideyed:

Its well worth a browse, maybe a post elsewhere to let others see ?

Well I just started liking the ‘68s a little more than I did before after watching those videos. That’s a beautiful color combo!:wideyed:
It looks like both the break and the oil pressure warning lights the one video. These imperials have both a mechanical and electric oil pressure sending units.

I feel sorry for me too  prices have changed somewhat in last few years and £ to $. When this car was for sale it was almost 2$ to the £:BangHead:

Well, you are on the same boat as euros vs. bucks.

I got a price to bring a car back from just outside Helsinki a while back, was more expensive than from US :wtf: so not looking in Finland any longer :realcrazy: but still looking in Sweden as my Daughter lives there, prices high but a lot of cars about.
