…..so when I circled the parking lot to head towards the exit, the Redeye was gone. I thought, bummer....I wanted to get another pic. Then drove a few more feet and saw the driver of the Redeye waiting at the front door of the restaurant for somebody.
In a matter of 3 minutes of my wife and I walking to her soccer mom Jeep Cherokee and going around the lot to exit , there had to be 15 people standing around that Challenger where he was waiting, just gawking at it.
Glad to being a Mopar fan everyday. Everybody knows what that car is, and the power it packs. Both young and old.
There's no fancy electric car in the world that would ever be able to hold the Hellcats jock strap.

Well something new today.
The local police rang my doorbell today and said the neighbor 2 doors down has a problem with me starting the Charger up in the morning. He said it makes too much noise and wakes his wife up. I told the cops that they can kiss my ***! My car is 100% stock and 100% legal and I have a right to start my car anytime I want. No one says anything about his turbo diesel truck starting up everyday. The cops tried to de-escalate the situation because they realized this conversation was starting to irritate me by saying "Jeez, we saw that you have a Scat Pack. That is a really nice car!"
I took it down a notch and asked them if they wanted me to start the Scat Pack and they can hear it for themselves. They said no and the conversation ended.

I would have slammed the door on the cops face, any idiot who tries to enforce something that stupid is not worth my time. I'd also be putting a flaming brown bag on the neighbors doorstep every night.
NO! Kiss their ***. Bob will meet again with those guys. A slammed door will only result in problems later. Being extra nice can be a get out of jail free card.

Alright, I wouldn't do that, but I'd want to. The fact that cops enforce noise ordinances when they aren't in order pisses me off. They've done that here, and I don't get it. The law states 10pm, so why ***** about someone making noise at 4pm? Why have laws if they enforce when they want? And a HOA on top of that? Why don't they ever tell the callers to figure out the law and live with not having everything go their way? Gotta get the brakes done so I can drive through miles if farm country and be glad I don't deal with all the crap that folks deal with in populated areas. Not even there and my blood pressure is climbing!
Exactly! The cops don't want to come to your door to do dumb stuff like that. This guy will keep up the complaints and they will be there again. You want them on your side.
We had a neighbor that would call the cops if one of my kids farted too loud. I really started to hate that guy and I don't think the cops were liking him much either. He finally moved, I think because of us, and the next guy was great. He had Harleys. He moved south and now I have a gay couple next door that are really good neighbors.
Because they have to make an appearance and nothing more. Believe me, they know most calls are petty.

I know, but they used to be able to tell people to suck it up and calm after 10pm. They lost their BS filter, not by choice. As much as I dislike cops, I like to be on their good side. I know too many to be a dick to any cop, ever. I wouldn't want their job. I would be smiling if a neighbor called the cops because one of my cars is too loud, hasn't happened, yet.
The conversation ended on a friendly note. I support the police. They have to respond to stupid **** too. Route 40 through the main drag of my town slows from 55 mph to 30 mph through the 4 blocks of the town. The police are always out there with radar. I'm always within the speed limit there and every road in and near my house.
The neighbors are encouraging me to get one of these....
