Welcome 1971 300 Alvah to FCBO!

That is a very nice example of a 71 300. It even has all the factory trim on it, at least on the passenger side. I am impressed that even the ribbed plastic insert on top of the metal trim is also still there (by now, most cars are missing the ribbed insert when the glue gives out over time). I am a little surprised that the color doesn't look more like turquoise - has it ever been repainted (I see what might be some overspray on the door opening weather strip just below the driver side front of the rear window)? Maybe it is the lighting? I also like the white bucket seat interior and white vinyl top. How many miles are on the car? Given that the ribbed inserts are still on the trim, I am thinking it must be pretty low miles or maybe the Oregon climate helps retain it compared to hotter climates. It also has a power driver seat that doesn't show up on the body code plate.

Thanks for sharing.

What does the odometer show on your car? Has it ever been repainted?

I've got about 103,000 on it. I got it with 84,000. It hasn't been repainted other than a collision repair on the trunk. It was garaged 100% before I got it 4 years ago. Unfortunately I can't find a garage deep enough to fit it anywhere I've lived!

That is probably an indication you should consider selling it to me then, don't you think? I have a garage big enough for it! :poke:

Thanks for the reply!
