Gas Price

Premium fuel around here is 91 octane for the most part with a few 92 or 93's. It's "recreational fuel" with no corn squeezins'....thank goodness!!

As for road aids and taxes....oh never mind

Shirt I bought on our trip to Ireland many years ago. Guy said it was in support of the France gas riots.

I keep hearing that we are exporting more oil than we import. We open up more areas in the U.S. for exploration and extraction. In my simple mind, We should have cheap(er)gas and adequate supplies to fend off our dependance on imported oil. I understand lack of refineries and storage plants a part of this. But I keep circling back to profits and shareholders dividends as being the biggest reasons. Yes, it's a "global economy" and the oil industry is tied to many countries, but I think the consumer is getting hosed....no pun intended.

stop putting junk in your car ;-)

ultimate 102 octane gas is currently 6,68 $ a gallon (ethanol free)

:D It's regular fuel. I'd put Super+ or stuff like that in a high compression 440cui car but in my 350cui it wouldn't change much.

true it won't bring you more power but our 95 has E5 or 10 while ultimate is still ethanol free.
It can keep hassle away like leaking fuel hoses, gummed up carbs and gas tanks

I´ll keep that in mind when I put fuel in my scorch red 440 car one day :poke:
