Anyone here own a Jukebox?

I have success. I made a power source for my wall box. I am guessing this has not functioned in over 50 years. I am very happy. :)

Now I will order the converter, the mechanic pulses produced by the wallbox is converted into a digital signal, which will play the corresponding selection on my iPod, which in turn is hooked up to my modern stereo.

Waiting on my converter, so playing around with the title cards. Found a nice free program for the standard 2 song title.

I could not find a good 1 song title card. My wallbox has 8 sections for this style. I had one original for reference, I was told it was the same style used for 78s. I found similar on different pay programs but they were all lacking in some detail.

I posted the question on a Jukebox group and one guy offered to make me up a sheet with his own software. He nailed it.

Wurlitzer Jukebox Collectors group on FB. There is another forum which isn't very active but has a lot of good information called Jukebox Addicts. That is where I got the free title software, there is a sticky dedicated for it. The mediator is extremely knowledgeable about Seeburg Jukeboxes, even wrote a couple of books.

I don't care if it's a car or an old jukebox that hasn't run for 50 years there is not a better feeling than the first time give it a shot, it works :)

Having a great jukebox day. Went to my shop to work on my jukebox. I made a jumper to by pass the coin mechanism, which turns it into a free play jukebox. I finally got the selection buttons to work.

This is big because now everything goes though its process making it easier to diagnose.

After posting on my Wurlitzer group I am certain the problem is with the cam motor brake. It could be as easy as a cork pad which acts as a brake pad, may have fallen off. :)

Fortunately or unfortunately I don't do Facebook... nice work though. Glad there you're making progress.
My juke has an ecu in it that lets you bypass the coin mechanism so it plays free all the time. It also allows you to play a "primer" song every now and then so it can tease patrons, at a bar for example, to play it. I had to bypass that cuz it would turn on whenever and play a record which would freak my wife out when she was home alone

Too funny, my wall box, hooked up to my ipod has the "primer" function. I can set it at 4 minutes or 20 minutes.

I had a great jukebox weekend. I checked out the cam motor brake. The solenoid only moves a 1/16th of an inch, I couldn't at even notice this movement at first. It ended up to be a very smooth worn core, which I dressed with a file and then re adjusted the solenoid.

Congratulations sounds good. I have a 1975 Seeburg Entertainer that I don't use much but when I do it doesn't work to well till it warms up ( 5-6 records ) then works fine. these old machines need to be used to work right help that helps you.

All ready for Christmas, I have the wallbox all loaded with my wife's favorite Christmas songs. I don't believe there is a duplicate song. Found an even better program for the title cards

Still need to put the tree and decorate, so I guess I'm not already, but now we have music to play while we are decorating. :)

They're both shitty songs that never should been recorded... how's that!
There are a lot of songs that could make that list: Last Christmas, So This Is Christmas, My Favorite Things, The Little Drummer Boy... I can go on!

Now lets go to a great Christmas Song, one of our very active members @Ross Wooldridge sent me 2 songs which he just finished producing for a very talented singer Brenda Brown.

I was honored to load them into the wallbox.
