I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

I've always thought the, same about mini vans. However today's small vans get great fuel economy and are comfortable as Hell with any and all creature comforts you could ask for. They can haul 7 people comfortably with luggage in the rear. All while getting 27 MPGs at 80 miles an hour.
Remember , this is a place where you gotta drive to get to places and these places aren't close together. I have five kids and currently have 5 grand kids, I'm gonna need a passenger cruiser .

I understand the images statement but my wife and I have made the best of the mini van rentals as we cruise hours and hours to concert venues, hot springs, national parks, national forests, rivers , dams and waterfalls. The last mini van rental I put 6000 miles on in less than two weeks as I drove through Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Washington and Montana.
I can spread out in these vehicles, get changed while driving haul anything I need to for the tour and get there safely all at 27 MPGs and a top speed of 109.

A mini van is a great frugal way to transportation bliss.
It is painful to think about, but you hit the whole minivan appeal right on the head AFAIAC. A long wheel base model may hold a sheet of drywall too, I haven't checked. Stow and go was great for the one I slept in at Carlisle a couple years ago, and no headroom complaints.

I would suggest that you look for a used one, they seem to lose a lot of value once titled. I know you like the idea of being the first to fart in the chair... but in all honesty, that never happens. Between the plant, the car hauler, and the pre-delivery inspection... someone like me will be there first.

Thanks Jeff, used it would be. I'm not really a new car person ...I've had 3 in my life .

Not sure on the SRT but our Pentastar V6 gets about 20 around town and 23 on the highway. Of course highway for me in Arizona, Utah and the places I go means 85-90 mph and a lot of mountain climbing so mileage isn't going to be great in anything. @Snotty says he gets I think 27 in his R/T with the 5.7.
Haven't seen 27 Chris, although I would love to!! I did see 26.3 on my way to Colorado last July!!

I snapped this when it hit 26. Some 80 miles later, when I stopped tio get gas it read 26.3. That's over-all mileage; the tank MPG was 26.6. I LOVE this vehicle!!

Finally found out the production numbers on my Scat Pack.

There was 15,491 Charger R/T Scat Packs produced for 2019.

There was 7199 Charger R/T Scat Pack Plus produced. The Plus models have all of the Hellcat options. Pitch Black was the most popular color and 1512 were produced.

I have to say, hands down, Dodge has done a magnificent job with this car over the years. It's what Ford should have done with the Crown Vic.

I still don't understand why they call that thing a Charger.

They should've made the Charger a 2 door, then kept the Magnum available in 2 door wagon, (How cool would that have been), 4 door wagon or 4 door sedan if necessary.

To me the Charger of today is based on the Magnum 4 Door wagon. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But to me a 2 door would've be a better fit heritage wise.
