My last Cummins powered Ram was in 2010. I then switched to a F350 powerstroke. But the other day I got to looking at the Rams again. Anyone else looked at the longhorn interior. This thing is nice and I just had to have it. The powerstroke served me well, but there is just something about the Cummins that I really like. And it's always nice to put a Mopar in the garage.

You can probably thank Fiat for the nice interior styling. Thing about Cummins is exactly that. It's a Cummins, the leader in that market since day one. I don't have a diesel powered Mopar, but a lot of my friends and family do. They all say ''Real Trucks don't have Spark plugs''.:beerchug:

yep, you are right. My 2010 had a great interior too. Much better than previous years. The interior of my wife's new Charger is downright beautiful as well.

Beautiful truck, congrats.

RAM is kicking *** right now & the sales are way up. No wonder cuz they're the nicest of the big three by far & they're also the cheapest of the three.

I LOVE my daily driver 2011 RAM.

Do you need all that truck?

In a Ram, yes. Ford or Chevy, no. I have to have a dually in a pre2013 Ram to have enough payload for my use. 11,500 pound travel trailer with over 2100 pounds of atvs and the deck in the back. The ford single rear wheel had plenty of payload, however the wife is looking at 19,000 GVWR fifth wheel toyhaulers. So we needed a dually. I actually bought the least capable dually out of the big three for MY 2012, but it will have payload to spare. And I am back in a Ram. Basically, yes I need a dually.

OK. I just wanted to know if you were like the Bubbas down here who buy lifted blinged-out SuperDuty crew cab long bed dually 4X4 diesels to go to Walmart with....

Ha! No. Not only do we have the camper, but also a 25 ft PJ tilt deck with 9000 pounds of skid steer and a 27 foot enclosed car hauler. I keep my trucks mainly stock with just personal touches. I know the type of guys you are referring to though. I work with those type of *** clowns on a daily basis.

They like FN up the CG (center of gravity) so the truck tips over easier in a half inch of snow or mud.

And of course they are too effin lazy to remove the tow hitch sticking out another foot so you crack your shin in half while walking through the parking lot...

We just came back from a 16 day camping trip and after night after night of unhooking the camper (didn't stay in any one place too long), I got tired of pulling the weight distribution hitch off the truck. So one night the wife wanted to go out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and all I did was pull the bars off the hitch. We were one of the first ones at Texas Roadhouse so the lot was empty. I pulled in way out in the middle of nowhere since I had a big truck. Sure enough, when we came back out there was a Tahoe parked behind us with the plastic front bumper squished in about 6 inches around my hitch. People are stupid..... But other than that time, I rarely leave a hitch in anymore. I had a 200 dollar Curt adjustable ball hitch rated for 18,000 pounds disappear off of my truck....I was pissed. Didn't have a locking 2 1/2" receiver pin.

....and they seem partial to hanging fake balls off the trailer hitch......typical trash.

Truck Nutz............they suck.

Gorgeous truck, does it even fit in the garage? My wife and I always liked the looks of a dually, has the ride gotten better within the last five years? Those things bounce.....

Yes, our garage is 30x48 with one of the doors being 18 ft wide. Plenty of room. The new Rams ride amazing for one ton trucks. This dually rides better empty than my single rear wheel f350 I traded for it. Obviously it rides even better loaded. Things really changed for the HD Rams in the 2010 MY. Very comfy ride. I too like the looks of the dually. Like a woman with hips. I think the ram duallys are the best looking of all out of the big three currently. And the Rams have all steel rear fenders on the duallys, no plastic.

I liked the separate fender better than the solid quarter but it is one hell of a truck ......... Do you keep it in the garage?

It is right now, but will spend at least 75% of its life outside. It's my daily driver so when I am on the oil rig, it will be outside for those two weeks. Then on my two weeks off it may have a chance to go in the garage if the wife keeps her **** on her side. I am on the rig now, but left the truck home since I have not received my mudflaps yet. I hate rock chips, so the wife let me take her Raptor.
