Front passenger window goes down about a inch, then it stops, and I can rotate the handle like it's stripped

I haven't taken it apart yet, is this a common failure? Simple fix? I don't want to pull it apart before knowing I might need a regulator

If any of the others have points that it gets hard to crank it’s time to get into all of them, clean and regrease. It’ll help avoid a repeat performance.

If you can roll down the window some, it might not be the regulator is bad. I had the same problem on my 300, and I had to take it completely apart and free up everything and re lubricate. When you get the regulator out, you will be able to see the stripped gear if it is toast. No matter what, you need to clean and grease EVERY moving part.

Absolutely. But, I am thinking a replacement regulator is needed.

My 68 Charger was only four years old when one of the rear quarter window regulators stripped.
The least used window. Go figure. Poor vendor quality is my guess. Found one at the local boneyard cause the dealer parts counter was way out of my price range.
