Power window track roller assembly needed! or parts help needed?

A little update here on these. I have not received my new rollers yet so not sure if I can re and re this original bracket to go back onto my 300, but, I found one through a contact here on FCBO and they arrived early this week. These are out of a B body, and the bracket is slightly different...

Window trim removal trick? '72 Newport

Good afternoon everyone, Is there a trick to removing the stainless steel trim around the window? I've undone the screw that is in the end of it toward the back but nothing is moving at all. Before I crank on it and break something, are there more screws or are they stubborn clips? I've already...

66 Polara - Power Window Woes

Nice car, and thanks for the pictures. Do what @Xenon said, and find a good shop to rebuild the window motors. There are threads on the site that cover the removal of the regulators, and they can be dangerous if they aren't taken out correctly. Good luck!

NOT MINE 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan Sport Sedan - $29,000 - Scottsdale, Arizona

Was trying to remember what scene would have required removal of a window and came up with this... But then I realized "Plymouth (or Dodge), not a Lincoln" so this was probably just for filming a much less interesting scene without reflections...

    Windshield replacement

I've replaced a few windshields. It's not that hard to do, depending on how it's held in. You didn't specify what year, but assuming it's gasket, there are a lot of videos on YouTube on how to do it. There's a couple methods, one that uses a rope and placing the gasket on the windshield first...

    Windshield interchange?

Murray has to have a 1969-1973 fuselage station wagon or 1969-1973 fuselage 41 body 4-door sedan with a clear windshield. Maybe call him and ask if he has some piano wire to help remove it. Or take some with you. You can wrap the end of the wire around a piece of dowel rod, feed it through at a...

    1969 Imperial progress thread

Yea, I'm pretty sure someone before you did all that mess. They have a lot dents caused by wrong used removal tools. I hope someone can straighten them. The Window itself came out pretty good so far. It took me 4 hours to remove all the old goop. There is still some limescale I was not able to...

    Dash Pad Color

I am hoping to buy the dash pad @67-Fury has listed. His is blue, but I will need to paint it red. I was on the phone with Chas from 8774Paint1 trying to figure out a solution. He couldn't find any paint codes for a '67 Fury interior. For a '68 Fury he could find Aztec Maroon Poly Low Gloss...

What are you working on today??

Forgot the pics! The circular cardboard cover that goes over the spare has some sort of label on it. Any idea what it says? I have one carboard inside fender cover that is ok, plus the one that fits inside the inner fender behind the jack itself. The other two are toast. I have seen re pops of...

Glass Removal was a SUCCESS! ‘68 New Yorker

Glad to hear that your glass survived the removal process. That rust around the rear window is not uncommon on the fast tops. Here's a video that may help prepare you for the job. Here are some shots of an intact channel. One difference is that you don't want the drain hole...

    1969 Imperial progress thread

Another batch of freshly plated parts are in :) After Laser paint and rust removal, all the interior trim parts are freshly zinc plated now and ready for black paint. And with the repro fiberglass side trim panels from ABC Moparts, the bigger rear Window I bought from Wyatt and a nice set of...

    Rear door glass removal

Hi guys, I've a problem that I'm sure some of you have encountered and dealt with. On my 75 Town and Country the drivers side power window is slipping on either the regulator teeth or the motor drive teeth and need to fix it. On earlier C bodies I've always managed to get the glass and motor out...

    Window motor removal

OK, I got the door panel off the Imperial after five years of bitching about the window stuck in the "up" position. I tried to apply power directly to the motor to see if the switch was bad or the motor. Just sparks and no movement. Motor needs to be overhauled. Geting the motor out has...

    Windshield sealant

And if you think they haven't used butyl tape on anything since the 70's, my 2010 Ford Ranger truck's rear window is sealed with good old butyl tape.

1971 Fury GT, Gold, Promo Car

Remote handle prior to removal. I used an awl to pop the bottom of it outward. The clip then just popped off. It really doesn't engage much thread. The studs for the old mirror run horizontal through the door shell. I could not get a socket and a ratchet on them because the glass is too close...

What are you working on today??

I made cardboard quarter panel liners several years ago. Got a hold of large cardboard sheets and used the originals for templates. Trimmed them out, marked out the folds and used a straight edge to fold them correctly. a can of black spray paint and you can't tell they are not original. Did it...

    Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

I concluded some time ago that the same blower motor is sold by a variety of suppliers ranging from Murray to Bosch to some others. The one I ended up purchasing last time I needed one was a little different in that it had the exact rubber drain tube attached to the round whole in the housing...
