i bought a new fuel tank for my 65 fury. I cleaned up the tank straps and realized, tank to straps would be metal to metal. Is there a rubber or fiber strap that goes between tank and strap? NAPA and Orielys were clueless.

i may have a chance to buy a 67 fury 383 4 barrel 4spd convertible car. 67 convertible fury lll, looks like 4523 were made. I’m trying to find out how many were 383 4 barrel 4 spd cars. The car is in horrible condition but would try and save it if it’s real rare.
