1953 Plymouth Cranbrook Convertible
I am NOT a dealer, I am clearing out my 30 year car collection out of my shed
-Needs Full Restoration
-Only 6,301 Convertibles produced in 1953
-California Car with very solid rust-free frame
-The floor is rusty along with a few spots on the body
-No other floor rust, it's perfect in the convertible top areas, wheels wells, and trunk, a true California car!
-Includes a New front and rear set of sheet metal floors, Made in the USA, see photo
-Some rust on lower quarter panels
-Odometer says 73,245 miles, speedometer doesn't work currently, not sure what the actual miles is
-218cu Flathead straight six engine
-Engine Runs and it Lot drives
-3 speed manual, column shift
-I have a set of keys
-Factory AM Radio
-Power Convertible Top
-Includes extra grill
-Includes a pair of NOS MOPAR Tail Light Bezels, see photo
-Includes a pair of NOS aftermarket Glo-Lite Tail Light Lenses, see photo
-Includes a 1953 Minnesota license plate, see photo
-Includes many many pieces of literature I've been collecting over the years
-Restored convertibles are in the $30k to $50k range (I've been following the market for the 16+ years I've owned the car)
-I also have two 1950s 276 ci Hemi V8 engines available, if interested, see photo
-Two kids under 3, no time, and too many projects
See my other ad for a '53 Plymouth sedan with clear MN title and MN Collector Plates I planned to use to restore this one. I missed getting the cars to Mopars in the Park this year and back to the 50s, so I'd love to see them both go to a Mopar fan or at least to the same home to restore the convertible. Let's do a package deal on both cars, say $5,995 for the pair, and maybe I throw in one of the Hemi engines.
Convertibles don't come up for sale that often.....I've seen two in the last 17 years!
No Title for the convertible, Bill of Sale only will be provided. State of Minnesota's process of getting a title looks pretty easy and painless compared to what it used to be.
