Anders,
On a 1965 Chrysler New Yorker --- you must first verify that it is among the 98 % of New Yorkers which
Have 11" x 3" Front Brake Drums (measure Brake Shoes width, because there is always an extra 1/4" depth, as brake shoes, do not go "lip - to - lip"....) And Have 11" x 2 1/2" Rear Brake Drums.......
That is "Normal" for a 1965 Chrysler New Yorker.....
If it is the Light Duty System, utilizing 11" x 2 3/4" Fronts and 11" x 2" Rears, that changes everything radically -- because they used Hubs from two (2) different Out of Business Companies -- Kelsey-Hayes and MotorWheel --- and THEIR studs are different !!!!!
However, if you have the conventional 11" x 3" Fronts
& 11" x 2 1/2" Rears ---
I have the LEFTY !!!! And Righty Front Wheel Studs and Lug Nuts. &
I have the LEFTY !!!! And Right Rear Wheel Studs and
Lug Nuts.....
The Front Wheel Studs dimensions are :
.650 " Knurl Diameter, 1 5/8" Length, and 11/16" shoulder...
The Rear Wheel Studs dimensions are :
.673" Knurl Diameter, 1 19/32" Length, and 9/16"
shoulder....
That should answer all your questions.....
Yours, Craig.......
