Long time MOPAR fan, recently acquired 66 Polara. Traded a very nice 86 Harley FXR for it last weekend. Rode out 1000 miles from ABQ to Fresono CA, made the trade, car broke down within 10 minuets of the trade, fixedit, back on the road, broke down again in Winslow AZ, this time the passenger side spindle was destroyed.

A good trade? I still think so. A little more work than I wanted to get in to but it's all fixable. Hopefully I'lol aquire a new spindle, back plate, and drum soon.

"Stuck here in Winslow Arizona". Yes it's a good trade coming from a biased 66 Polara owner. Welcome to the site from Minnesota, hope you get it fixed soon. I look forward to hearing more about this one.

Hey... Good trade. Hopefully, just a bit of bad luck to start with. Had '66 Monaco. Great design year. The 2door H/Ts look so sharp. What are you running? 383?

Yes, a 383 4bbl, factory A/C, PS, PB. Previous owner detrimmed the car and painted it. Started the interior and I guess gave up. Its going to need some effort but the engine runs strong. This is a pretty fun car, I can't wait to really dig into it. Thanks for the welcome.

Nukefrog- welcome from California. That Polara is tight. Nice trade- I see dozens of Harleys every day but no C bodies. I actually think your 2 door hardtop looks good with out the trim (but would chrome the bumpers).

Thanks. I'm considering taking the paint off the bumpers, looks like someone just painted over the chrome so it should be pretty easy to remove
