thanks i will try to get the new radiator and get the gas tank brazed up this weekend so i might be able to drive it around under its own power!
i may even try to get the car ready for paint this weekend but thats going to be ALOT of work! lol

well i got a little more done on the car. I started filling the holes from the trim that i took off. man oh man that is a chore!!!! i got all of the holes filled and started grinding down the welds but it takes for ever to get them to look close to right. 1st pic is after i welded them up, 2nd is me grinding on them, 3rd is them ground down, and 4th is them primed up. i am still going to come back with a little bondo and clean them up but all and all its coming along. i got 29 out of the 62 holes done....lots of work left!

oh and one more thing...make sure you keep the fingers away from the grinder, i found out the hard way it really hurts!!!!

The metal sparks can burn in the glass surface as well, be careful. I usually cover the glass with thick cardboard to make sure.

Im back!!! I will post some updated pics in a few mins. I have strayed away from the car for some time now but back at it and ready to finish the car.

Ok it's been a long time but the car is in the body shop getting everything smoothed out ready for a new coat of ppg paint. I went with a bright white with a silver pearl in the clear.
