Title in my name is on its way.
The car with all the parts and then some shown in this thread with just the engine and trans currently in it and a title ready to transfer for $5,400.

I'm kinda sad I'm not in the market for a project of this magnitude, Matt. Your '67 is a great starting point; and appears to have most, if not all, of the parts ready to go on a stunning ground-up build. If this were mine, I'd go with that original silver and two-tone blue, Winchester Grey and blue w/white top, or dark metallic blue with two-tone blue interior and white top.

Thanks Patrick!
I’ll take 5k if the interested party mentions the saw it here.

Or make me an offer.:thankyou:

Clean green title!

$4,500.
I’m going to be swapping around some tires in the shop so this one is going to end up with some rollers from another project on it. I’m going to put the 10 year old whitewalls on the Mobile Director car.

I will speculate that if I decided to part this one out completely including every useable metal panel that I would end up with around 7 or 8K minus what I have into it. It would take some time but I’m sure of it and will do it if there’s truely no interest. Heck I could use some of this metal on the Mobile Director. I’ve had 3 stupid offers from the derby crowd so far but I would sooner cut the entire body up to save others before letting it die in front of an audience of _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.
$4,000 gets it or I start dismantling it.

Stash it in a locker for awhile Matt. Just bad timing right now.
I’m not going to pay $100 a month, maybe $75 if I’m lucky, to store this car. It makes no sense to me right now.

it's worth the $5500. you were asking Matt. You've offered it for 4K now. $1500. is 15 months storage. You may still come out ahead if stored for awhile and the car needs to be saved....... You've put forth a big effort toward that.
Heck.... In 12 months I may be in a better position to take advantage. :)

 Hummmmm. Crimson red, white top and interior......

I’ll give it a little more time.

Switched around a couple of sets of tires today so I had the wheels off of this car for the first time today. Now all the rollers hold air but it no longer has whitewalls, sorry....
Calipers aren’t on it but it does come with them.

The rears. Drums and wheel cylinders are on it and it looks like a full set of the old hardware in a box is included. Really solid.

You can see the wrinkles in the passenger rear wheelhouse where it was hit at some point. Hopefully all is found repairable once the poor bondo job on the quarter is removed.

I had one these 10 years ago, sold it for $7k but took a while to sell. Really fun to drive, it's HUGE! You really have to find the right buyer who loves these cars and with the bucks to do it right. Jay Leno? Here's my original ad:

1967 Imperial Convertible

One of 577 built. Acquired from the 86 year old ORIGINAL OWNER who was is an actor and had small speaking parts in Magnum Force, Tucker, More American Graffiti, The Streets of San Francisco, The Right Stuff, etc. 30k miles on rebuilt exchange 440 engine, pointless ignition kit, solid state regulator (looks stock), heads just rebuilt, transmission rebuilt 30k ago, original rebuilt AFB carb but engine has a slow speed intermittent surge, might need a new carb? Otherwise smooth as silk. Uses ZERO oil.

Brand new quiet dual exhaust. New Air shocks. Everything works including AC, original 43 year old black top with no holes, new tires. Interior is fair to good, NO rust, body and bumpers has minor dings and needs paint but original still shines great, Sure grip rear end was rebuilt 1 year ago with new nos ring and pinion,. New front pads AND rebuilt stainless steel sleeved calipers.

I have every receipt all the way back to 1967 including the original sticker and hand written notes on on preordering with wanted options. This Imperial originally sold for $7500. in S.F. AM-FM with foot or hand search option and rear speaker reverberator. I have an original service manual and a magazine with an article on this car too. I also have a good parts source in Santa Rosa. This car is a driver. ( Note: engine long block was exchanged in 1992 for a rebuild. Transmission rebuild occurred also in 1992).

NO KOOKS! I will not sell the car to people who aren't willing to come look at it!
